Are You Waiting For That One Perfect Moment?

As I sat and watched the sunset over over the Taw...

I took the chance to reflect on the current situation that we find ourselves in as well as some of the conversations I’ve had in the past with clients regarding fitness, nutrition and their lives.

I’d often hear the same “excuse” as to why they couldn’t exercise, why they couldn’t eat healthy, or why they were stuck in a job they hate.

It was always a lack of the one precious thing that we all have a finite amount of, but we are all so willing to waste.

You’ve probably been guilty of it.

Shit, I’ve been guilty of it.

Yet, we go on waiting.

And waiting.

For that one moment.

In time when everything is perfect and we’ll do that thing we said we were going to do.

Honestly, how often have you said “I’ll do it when I have time”

Well, as luck would have it.

If you’re on lockdown.

All you have is time.

Time, that you’ve been gifted.

Time that you’ve been waiting for so that you can finally do that thing you’ve been putting off.

“I don’t have time to exercise” ... really, you can lose fat and get fitter in 4 minutes per day.

“I don’t have time to eat healthy” erm, yeah you do

“I don’t have time to learn how to.....(fill in the gap)

“I don’t have time to learn a new skill”

Now you do

Granted, there are some aspects to learning that may require practical, hands on learning that may need to to wait until after “lockdown” and life is a little less restricted, but you could at least research some courses. Google is your friend. (Obviously there are other search engines but does anyone know them? Does anyone care?).

Look, I don’t know how long this situation will go on for. 3 weeks, 3 months. Or God forbid, 6 months.

But the time is going to pass.

You’re never going to get it back.

Please don’t waste it.

Have an amazing day.
